Team Building! Argh!

Yesterday, I got interviewed, randomly, by people from one of the campus newspapers. They took my photo too and promised to include it. I told them they were making a big mistake in doing so, but I'm not sure I convinced them. Much as I enjoy international fame (I've been on Belgian TV, Japanese TV in all likelihood, and in various music videos), local fame is a curse! Everyone knows who I am and I haven't a clue who they are! Wearing huuuuuge booooots has the unfortunate side effect of letting people come to recognise me fast enough - I don't need anything to speed up the process!

Last night, I went to a goth night with aforementioned goth bloke and two of his friends. It wasn't quite Slimelight, but the music was good and entry was free.

This morning, I noticed my curtains have pictures of ankhs on them, and we had team building.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, all right, it could have been a lot worse. We didn't have to learn everyone's name. We didn't have to find out all about another person and then tell the group about them. We didn't have to build boats. We did have to talk about trees, pretend to be in shark-infested water, throw a ball around, pass through rope hoops and learn about the four stages of teamwork - forming, storming, norming and performing - but we got to take off our clothes. Although, for some strange reason, no one opted to remove anything other than jumpers and shoes. And I just wish I'd worn an actual pair of socks, for once, as opposed to one black one and one magenta slipper sock with "Kozies For Kids" written on it.

This afternoon I have to co-write a fifteen minute presentation about something I know nothing about. (Some example topics being "What shape is a tidal wave?" and "Are fractals useful?")
